YOOSHIN ENGINEERING CORPORATION ('Yooshin') was established in
January 1966, when the Korean government actively expanded infrastructure
facilities across the nation. Ever since then, Yooshin has consistently grown
into one of the leading engineering consulting firms in Korea.
Yooshin boasts diverse kinds of project experiences
including route survey and detailed design of ¡®Gyeongbu Expressway¡¯ in 1967;
technical survey, detailed design and construction supervision of 'Gyeongbu
High-speed Railway' in the late 1980s, and; planning, design and construction
supervision of ¡®Incheon Internationl Airport(IIA)¡¯ in the early 1990s, greatly
contributing to the 1st Phase opening of IIA scheduled in March
2001. It is also continuously playing a leading role for the IIA 3rd Phase
project, following its successful completion of the IIA 2nd Phase
project.
Specialized in transportation facilities such as roads, airports,
railways, high-speed railways, subways, bridges, tunnels, and ports, Yooshin
also provides various planning & design services in the living
environmental sectors such as water resources, urban planning, leisure &
landscape, and environment improvement over the past four decades. As an
internationally competitive engineering firm, Yooshin has expanded its overseas
market shares by actively advancing into Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and
Africamore recently. It has provided technical consulting serviceson the
three-dimensional (3D) cable installation for the Oakland Bay Bridge Project in
the USA.
Yooshin went public through the KOSDAQ Stock Market in January
2002 as the nation's first and only civil engineering consulting firm.
Pursuing the 'Low Carbon, Green Growth' policy, Yooshin is
participating in diverse environmentally friendly projects such as the '4 Major
